About Me

Hello!  My name is Ben, and I am a professional firmware engineer in the midwest.  I quite enjoy writing software but I also enjoy making things in general.  I write code for fun and profit.  I currently work in the medical field, but have also worked in the automotive sector.  I own both a laser cutter and a 3d printer.   I am new to the blogo-sphere and I started this blog to both help and expand peoples interest in the embedded systems arena and to expand my experience with blogging.  Its a win-win.

Here are some things that I have experience with:
  • Bluetooth Low Energy
  • Capacitive sensing
  •  Wifi
  • Microcontrollers
    • PIC
    • ATMEL
    • TI
    • Freescale
    • ARM Cortex-M3
    • Cypress SOC
  • Ethernet
  • USB
  • CNC Routers
  • 3D Printing
  • Arduino
  • LCD displays
I have a few ideas for projects of my own and I will be using this blog to promote them.  Also, I love looking at all the exciting and diverse projects that people dream up.  These too will end up on the blog.

Cheers!
